Building a legacy Initiative

Phase one of our community center journey has launched with the Building A Legacy Initiative. The B.A.L Initiative is a 12 month journey that we are asking everyone who calls themselves a supporter and family of Verve Church to commit to.

Currently we are raising $50,000 in order to begin the construction and ground breaking efforts of this phase.

In November of 2019 we successfully purchased 15 acres of land at 28 Asbury Rd at the intersection of Hwy 113 N and Rainey Rd in Temple. Since then we have diligently prayed for God to lead us toward His vision in seeing lives restored and families mended.

We believe that there is a treasure in the field that has yet to be discovered. Instead of trying to find the treasure we bought the field. (Matthew 13:44-46).

Phase 1 (our future Verve Church home) is a 6,000 sq ft multi-use facility that will house us and accommodate our needs of reaching our city and beyond while we endeavor towards the ultimate vision of The Crossing Community Center.

 This new facility will provide space for growth, our kids, our students, counseling offices and a permeant location for us to worship.

For the past 6 years we've been a mobile church. Setting up and tearing down in a school and now in The Venue. Every week demands that we find a space for community outreach, family counseling, weddings, mid-week student ministry services and so much more. Finding adequate space has always been a difficult task... until now.

With this permeant location we will be able to not only accommodate our needs as a church but provide a space for our community to utilize as well.

How are we going to get there? Together! It's going to take everyone coming together to see this vision happen. We believe that God has brought you and your family to Verve for such a time as this. We do not want to move toward this opportunity without you by our side.

We're simply asking everyone to prayerfully consider making a 12 month commitment over and above their current tithe to help us reach our goal. If you're not currently tithing our desire is for you to begin there on your journey of faith

Do you know someone who doesn't have a church family? This is the perfect time to bring them to church. Do you know a business or other organization that would like to contribute towards this vision? Please let us know. Our church is open to anyone from anywhere. We're all in different places of our faith walk. We'd love to help you grow your faith with us.

Your commitment and contribution will enable us to further provide for our community, deliver hope through the Gospel each week and find creative ways to add value to others throughout our city.
